The only reason I used this as a title was because when Dorothy followed the Yellow Brick Road, she found things beyond her wildest dreams. And while I have a fairly good idea of what I want out of what my journey, my Yellow Brick Road is just beginning. I’m still with the munchkins but I’m heading off towards something that could change my life. Did that make any sense?
Never mind. Welcome to my blog. This is to chronicle my journey into the world of fashion. It’s always been something I’ve been interested in, but I’ve never done it. I’ve always known that I love clothes, that’s a given, but it finally hit me. If I love them so much, and I LOVE creating things, why not just put two and two together. So I am.
This is my journey. I’m starting from scratch here people. I need to learn to sew, to make patterns, and to market. Everything. I’ve drawn my entire life, so designing won’t be a problem. I don’t expect people to care about this, but I figured I’d keep this as a record of how I got to where I hope to be.
This is my inspiration song, right there! It really gets me pumped.
